Tulloch was raised within Spain, Uruguay and Argentina. She was born and raised within San Diego California. Tulloch, who goes by Bitsie instead of Elizabeth is in honor of an World War II fighter pilot who was known as "Bitsie" and was involved in the Goldsboro B-50 crash that occurred in 1961. At the time Tulloch began her acting career, she was known as Bitsie and continued to be until 2017, when she chose to change her name Elizabeth rather than explaining that I continue to go by Bitsie. I continue to introduce myself by the name of Bitsie to people I meet. As I began my journey in the field of acting, I would identify myself to people as Bitsie. And now Im in my 30s, and I feel that for the sake of billing, I was tempted to return to Elizabeth. This thought didn't occur to me until the time I started filming. It was Elizabeth that the producer noticed while filling in legal documents. What do you think of this method of billing? When I had a second thought, I spoke to my manager and agent. They said that was a good concept. Age has shifted. Bitsie however, on contrary, is a cute and adorable name. It's cutesy. This is all the words that were spoken. Its not like I introduce myself as Elizabeth today. The reason for this is that I am a biller. to do this. Tulloch is of Scottish as well as Spanish heritage. Tulloch says her birthplace was in Spain, although it's not her mother spoken language. The paternal grandparents of her grandmother are of Renfrewshire and her family of grandparents was from the area of Kirkwall both in Scotland. In an interview with BBC News she reported that we believe that the first Tulloch arrived in the US around 1880 and the Kerrs arrived in the early 1900s. Following her return in the U.S., she went to Bedford New York for middle and secondary school. Tulloch is a Harvard University graduate with two majors: English and American Literature and Environmental and Visual Studies.
